Everyone was supposed to bring tacky ornaments for the white elephant exchange. I didn't think there was anything more tacky than an extravagant peacock with its head chopped off. HOWEVER, a bunch of wise guys actually brought nice ornaments to give away. I started feeling more and more guilty for the poor soul who would receive my headless peacock. Ken saved me from my embarrassment by taking the fall and choosing the ornament for himself.
